missingWrote a review on 20 Decconvenient locationnon-functional air conditioninglack of communication
The location is incredibly convenient for local attractions.
During our stay, the air conditioning in our room was non-functional, which made for an uncomfortable experience in Durban's heat. We had to switch rooms late at night, and after going through three different options, the last one still had old air conditioning that hardly worked. To add to the chaos, the staff failed to inform us about the key card reset needed during load shedding, leaving us without power when we woke up.

The location was ideal, just steps away from
Gateway mall and only a short drive to the beach. My Executive Twin Suite was spacious, which made my stay enjoyable. I did find the breakfast offerings to be a bit lacking in variety. I appreciated the friendly staff, who were quite accommodating.

stayed one night in the executive king suite, and honestly, it woudl ve been nice if they actually cleaned it first. Glass pieces everywhere, and why was there no breakfast included? I expected at least some courtesy after my struggles with the porter. it was all a bit beneath my standards. almost left a good review, but just couldn’t.

I stayed in the Executive King Suite, and it was beautifully decorated with a huge shower and bathtub. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the housekeeping staff came in every day to keep it pristine. Plus, the spacious balcony was the perfect spot to relax with stunning views.

It was a suitable option for a couple of nights in Durban with good value considering the price it charged. The staff was friendly and responsive, which made the experience much better. Try to ask for rooms away from the busy street for a quieter stay.

The room was inviting and well-kept. Daily cleaning was consistent, making it feel like home. It’s a good family-friendly spot, close to various attractions and without feeling overcrowded (perfect for a chill evening).
Though service was generally friendly, some staff seemed a bit undertrained, leaving minor gaps in customer care.
